Anne Montavon is an actor, writer, and producer whose career began on the stages of New York City, where she spent the early 2000s performing in everything from musical theatre to straight plays across regional houses, Off-Broadway venues, and tours. After nearly a decade of living on coffee, subway transfers, and the thrill of live performance, she moved to Los Angeles in 2011. In LA, Anne continued her theatre work while expanding into television and film. Along the way, she briefly moonlit as a stand-up comedian and spent a couple of years sharpening her improvisational chops; both of which sharpened her timing and solidified her love for dark comedy and satire. Anne began writing in 2012 and hasn’t stopped since. She has created a range of original projects, blending sharp wit with a grounded emotional core. Her experience working in television development further informed her storytelling sensibilities and cemented her reputation as a multi-hyphenate who can build worlds, not just inhabit them. With a voice rooted in humor, humanity, and a slightly unhinged sparkle, Anne continues to develop and perform in projects that live at the intersection of satire, dramedy, and character-driven storytelling.
