Biography

Taro Donatella (born in Germany in 1982) is an international actor, director, and filmmaker known for large-scale visuals, physical intensity, and high-impact cinema. His filmmaking path began at age 18 when he founded his own production outfit, directing high-energy music videos shot on 35mm film (ARRIFLEX 535). Over the years, that technical discipline and eye for dynamic visuals grew into Donatella Productions and its cinematic label, Lesclusiva Productions. In 2026, Donatella made his mark with his proof-of-concept action film Double Payday a fast-paced project showing that true blockbuster scale and gritty action can be achieved independently. For Taro, action isn't an act he puts on when the cameras roll, it’s his life off-set. A dedicated athlete at heart, his daily world revolves around heavy gym sessions, martial arts, motocross, and high-speed car racing. He lives and breathes the adrenaline, discipline, and speed in his personal life that he later channels onto the screen.
